Mayan Calendar 2012 is the Long Count has caused plenty of controversy over its end date of December 21, 2012. Most of the popular doomsday prophecies hinge on this date. This end of date really an ending? According to the Maya, time evolves in every recurring and overlapping cycles. The ending merely marks the beginning of the next Great Cycle, according to the 2012 Mayan calendars, December 21, 2012 indicates the next stage of spiritual development for the world and a much needed new set of values.
It’s important for you to know that 2012 Mayan calendars are up for interpretation. Their actual purpose is unclear. The different time periods of these 2012 Mayan calendars appears to represent overlapping natural cycles that terminate on December 21, 2012. They were the cornerstones of life during the time of the ancient Maya and I feel we will someday soon know their true purpose again.

In the book, Downing says the bible clearly points out how UFOs played a strong role in the evolution of the Hebrew-Christian faith. For example, Downing believes the Scriptures suggest that Jesus' resurrection occurred when he was beamed up from Earth by a flying saucer.
Downing also believes that the bright cloud that led the people of Israel through the Red Sea, parting the waters and then engulfing the Egyptians, was a UFO.
The Author says it was space beings who spoke to Moses from the middle of a glowing thicket, and later spoke to Elijah outside the cave, forcing the prophet to shield his eyes because of the brightness. A UFO took Jesus away at the Ascension, and hovered over Paul and his followers on the Damascus Road, Downing contends.
Further, the author claims the three wise men probably followed a UFO to Bethlehem, since stars do not move or abruptly stop in the manner the bible describes.
